Mother's Day Sayings 2015

We all love our mothers dearly, and Mother's Day is the day to show it. Now, for many people, sometimes mother's day can seem like a rough spot. Many moms avidly reject the idea of tangible gifts, preferring cards and kind words over the unnecessary clutter. There is an art to spinning wonderful Mother's Day sayings, and unfortunately we don't all possess a great skill with words. Fortunately for us, diversity is what makes the world go round, and we don't all need to have the same gifts in order to deliver beautiful Mother's Day sayings to our moms.

When it comes to kind words as gifts, they come in two main forms: Quotes and Sayings.

Mother's Day Quotes

Having long been used as powerful, short messages, quotes are capable of delivering powerful feelings and inspiration. There's also something about the words of famous individuals, celebrities, poets, thinkers, revolutionaries, that pulls our immediate respect and attention.

Mother's Day Sayings

On the flip side of the cookie, sayings can be just as memorable and impactful, even though they often come from less notable sources. Sayings can evolve from idioms passed down through the ages, or simple phrases that have been dubbed so beautiful that they have trended into longevity. Many of these words have come in the form of Mother's Day sayings already, and others are just so heart-warming and compassionate that they simply innately make for some of the best Mother's Day sayings.

10 Memorable Mother's Day sayings:

Of course, there is always the option of writing our own Mother's Day sayings as well, but even if we make that choice, there is only a benefit to reviewing some of the best words of others. Rather than using them as a whole, many of these sayings make for a good spring-board to add on to, your imagination helping give your mother a little loving something extra.

Another great additive is to utilize one, or even a small cluster of these phrases to decorate an entire card with the words. Including pleasant pictures, colors, or calligraphy can give another boost to your card of Mother's Day sayings.

No matter what, though, it is always recommended to at least incorporate a small, personal message, even if it's just a simple "I love you Mom!" to pair with your saying. Trust us, you're mother is sure to appreciate it!
